Mr. Covey is a highly experienced professional in the financial services industry, having founded and operated multiple successful companies. One of his companies, Sombrero Capital, has secured over $400M in real estate value and paid over $80M in real estate taxes for more than 8,000 clients. Mr. Covey also manages Covey Financial, a loan servicing company with a portfolio of over 2,000 mortgages across 6 states. He graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA in Construction Management and Economics minor, where he also played varsity lacrosse.

Mr. Devins has extensive experience in public accounting and financial diligence, having worked at PwC for 9 years in both Audit and Transaction Services. He left PwC as a Director of Financial Due Diligence and joined Eric Covey at Sombrero Capital in 2018, quickly rising to the role of President where he oversees the day-to-day operations of both Sombrero Capital and Covey Financial. Mr. Devins graduated from Trinity University with a BS in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s in Accounting, and he currently holds an active Texas CPA license. Additionally, he is a licensed Loan Officer, NMLS #1780456.
